Requirements for the 1st Degree of E-Masonry

 

  1. Commitment to Self-Improvement

    • A sincere desire to grow spiritually, morally, and intellectually.
    • A willingness to dedicate oneself to the path of enlightenment and personal transformation.
  2. Sign the Oath

    • A formal commitment to uphold the secrets and teachings of E-Masonry.
    • The Oath includes confidentiality, respect for the process, and accountability in living the principles of E-Masonry.
  3. Set Up a Sacred Space for Prayer and Meditation

    • Creation of an altar or personal sacred space.
    • The space must include the Three Great Lights (symbolic representations of the divine, such as a candle, a sacred object, or other meaningful representations).
    • The space should be used for daily prayer and meditation as a way to connect with God and seek guidance.
  4. Daily Prayer and Meditation

    • Commitment to a daily practice of prayer and meditation, dedicated to seeking God’s wisdom and guidance.
    • Use of a prayer or meditation to center oneself and align spiritually.
    • Establish a habit of prayer, acknowledging God as the Grand Master.
  5. Character Integrity

    • A clean record with no significant history of criminal behavior.
    • A demonstrated commitment to truth, humility, and respect for others.
    • No lying, stealing, or other forms of dishonesty or deceit.
  6. Completion of the Introductory Materials

    • Study of foundational materials provided by E-Masonry (including a brief guide to the core values, symbols, and teachings).
    • Understanding of the significance of the symbols and colors associated with the 1st degree.
  7. Witnessing God’s Presence

    • A period of prayer and spiritual reflection where the candidate seeks to experience God's presence, guidance, or wisdom (may include personal visions or divine inspiration).
    • This process of experiencing God’s touch is essential for advancing to higher degrees in E-Masonry.
  8. Pledge to Serve the Community

    • A commitment to serving others and helping to elevate humanity through the virtues of faith, hope, and charity.
    • A willingness to be accountable for one’s actions and to work towards bettering oneself for the collective good.
  9. Completion of Mentorship or Study Program

    • Undergoing a period of mentorship or completing a study program designed to prepare the candidate for the 1st degree.
    • This may include reading sacred texts, engaging in spiritual discussions, or completing specific assignments related to self-growth and understanding.
  10. Approval by the Grand Master

  • Acceptance by the Grand Master (or designated authority) of the candidate’s readiness to proceed with the 1st degree initiation.
  • This ensures that the candidate is spiritually and morally prepared for the sacred journey ahead.

These requirements are meant to foster personal growth, connection with God, and a deep understanding of the sacred nature of E-Masonry.
